We are pleased to announce that Andrew Saunders will shortly be joining Rattlerow as Chairman of Lawson Partners Ltd (“LPL”). Andrew is one of the leading names in the UK pig industry and has an outstanding record working in all areas of the supply chain.
Andrew enjoys a long history with Rattlerow stretching back over 40 years. His first appointment within the UK pig industry was made by Phillip Lawson in 1978 and, in the period since, Andrew went on to become Agriculture Director of Tulip UK Ltd/Pilgrims overseeing one of the UK’s largest pig production businesses (BQP) and Managing Director of Dalehead Foods, processing pig meat and lamb products for a premium UK retailer. Andrew also served on BPEX and the British Meat Processors Association over a number of years.
Together with Robert and Adrian, Andrew will help in guiding the LPL Group over the coming years, taking-on the various challenges that the farming industry will undoubtedly face.
Andrew’s unique insight into the Pig Supply Chain, working closely with retailers as well as his wider farming knowledge and experience, will be a real asset to the Group. Securing Andrew as our non-executive Chair also reflects our commitment to the future. His appointment underscores our continued focus on building a team that truly understands the customers we serve and the nature of the industry in which we operate.
