Role: Klasse AI Technical and Quality Assurance Fieldsperson

Location: Multiple Locations across UK including Cambridge, Wales and Scotland

Reporting To: AI and Genetics Production Manager

Direct Reports: 5 Stud Managers across 6 AI studs

The Role:
As the Klasse AI Technical and Quality Assurance Manager, you will hold a pivotal position within our operations, overseeing the full operational spectrum of 6 stud farms directly under your control, along with 2 quarantine farms operated externally. Your leadership will ensure the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of these units, maintaining the highest standards of quality control, safety, health, environmental compliance, and animal welfare. You will be expected to travel between sites and be on the road at times.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary technical expert on AI across all sites.

You will have to drive standards/ protocols as set by the AI and genetics manager

Responsible for the quality assurance of all semen produced.

Driving technical innovation, and ensuring Klasse AI remains an industry leader.

Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies, driving continuous improvement in safety practices and environmental stewardship.

Foster a culture of engagement and high performance.

Overseeing training and development of all staff, ensuring team members are competent, motivated, and aligned with our strategic goals.

Develop and implement strategic and operational plans.

Monitor KPIs and lead initiatives to enhance farm performance, efficiency, and profitability.

You will be required to troubleshoot and support the AI stud managers as and when required.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a leadership role within the agricultural, ideally within pig production, AI, or related sectors (Ideal).

Exceptional people management and development skills.

Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Strategic thinker with the ability to translate plans into action.

Technical expertise in AI and genetics.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
