Nomination raises hopes for AIG award
Rattlerow Farms has been shortlisted for the 2018 National Pig Association AIG Member of the Year Award.
This coveted accolade, recognises the enormous contribution that the allied industry makes to the UK pig sector and the unique position it has in supporting pig production businesses by spearheading innovation and technical development. It will be presented by TV presenter and former British tennis star Andrew Castle during this year’s National Pig Awards in November.
Rattlerow is thrilled to have been nominated for this industry honour. It not only recognises the sixty-plus years the company has been delivering high-health, high-performance genetics to UK pig producers, but also acknowledges the significant investment it continues to place in British pig production in terms of technical advance, health management and production expertise at nucleus and commercial level, on-farm innovation/equipment development and staff training/ career progression.
Five nominees have been shortlisted for this year’s NPA AIG award and each would be a worthy winner. However, Rattlerow is hoping that votes will swing in its favour and that it is able to bring the award back to its Suffolk HQ. Voting is open now and you can cast yours here.
